Read Across America Week – Dixie will celebrate Read Across America Week next week with a Book Fair and daily dress up days. Please see the dress up days to the right. Children will have an opportunity to purchase books during their library time, in the morning , and at the Multicultural/Literacy evening. Kindergarten Registration – Registration will continue through February 28, 2020 from 9:00-1:00 each day. Tell your friends if you know they have k students to register, or you have a new magnet student. All Pro Dads – Barbour will lead another All Pro Dads breakfast at Dixie on Thursday, February 27, 2020 starting at 7:00 am. Please come and share breakfast and an activity with your child. Multicultural Night – Dixie will hold our Multicultural/Literacy Night this Thursday, February 27, 2020. There will be performances, displays and the Book Fair. Performances include: Chinese dancers, 3 rd Grade Seussical, 2 nd Grade Black History, and 3 rd -5 th grade World Percussion and Wellness Drumming. Address Updates – It is that time of year, when we ask parents to update addresses if you have had a change. Governor’s Cup Winners – Please be sure to congratulate the following students for their performance in the Governor’s Cup Challenge.
